Diaper Rash
ACTIVITIES: Change the diapers more
often to keep the area especially
clean. If possible, leave the diaper
area open to air occasionally. For
now, don't use plastic pants. Avoid
disposable diapers if possible.
MEDICATIONS: Minor diaper rashes can
be treated with Vasoline or A&D
Ointment. More severe diaper rashes
need to be examined by your health
care provider so proper treatment
can be given.
DIET: Usually no changes in the diet
are needed. If you think a certain
food is causing irritation, then it
should be avoided till the rash is
gone.
