and discreet access to all basic
call controls-whether your phone is
stashed away in your golf bag or
lying on a table nearby.
In addition to freedom of movement,
the Nokia Wireless Headset HDW-2
gives you freedom of choice. Because
its wireless connection is based on
the internationally recognized
Bluetooth standard, the headset is
compatible with a wide range of
Bluetooth-equipped phones* from
Nokia and other manufacturers. *
Compatible phones must support the
Bluetooth 1.1 specification and
Headset or Handsfree profiles.
The Nokia Wireless Headset HDW-2
matches Nokia's distinct design with
advanced Bluetooth technologies to
offer you ingenious and easy control
over calls. The Answer/End button
lets you take and make calls,
redial, and switch the audio back
and forth between the handset and
headset. A separate volume control
lets you raise and lower the call
volume as you move from place to
place-from bedroom to boardroom,
cafe to conference, or presentation
to party.
Phones that support voice dialing
are usually a good match for the
Nokia Wireless Headset HDW-2. Just
activate voice dialing and then let
your voice direct your call while
your hands are freed. To maximize
call security, the headset also
supports encryption of the wireless
connection for compatible phone
models.
Please note: The HDW-2 is not
supplied with an AC adaptor, it can
be charged using the Nokia chargers
ACP-8, ACP-9, ACP-12, LCH-9, and
LCH-12, if you have a Nokia
Bluetooth Phone then your existing
phone charger will work, if you have
another type of Bluetooth phone then
you should purchase one of these to
charge your headset.
