Grandma Remedies for Muscle
Cramps
Cramps can be released by a few
simple methods.
First, relax the "cramp" area.
Then gently massage the affected
area, You could apply an ice pack
also to massage the area. Massaging
with an ice pack for a few minutes
may redden the area, which is a good
sign. A hot water pack can also be
used for the same purpose, as the
application of heat will make the
"cramp" area susceptible to
flexibility and a soothing
experience. Later you can
hand-massage
Second, stretch the affected area
muscle slowly and gently.
For cramps in the calf area, do a
stretching exercise using the wall
as support. Stand about three feet
away from the wall, with your knees
straight and your heels on the
floor. Lean into the wall,
supporting yourself with your hands.
You will feel the stretch of your
calf muscles. Hold for a minute and
repeat three times.
