Sony's PFM50C1 PlasmaPro™ Flat Panel
Monitor features a "layout free"
design for horizontal or vertical
viewing flexibility; a built-in scan
converter that accepts a wide range
of SDTV, DTV, and HDTV signals; and
the ability to display both 4:3 and
16:9 aspect ratios.
The SuperSlim monitor is a bold new

Sony's PFM 50C1 features a high
resolution 1365 X 768 pixel display
that offers clear images and superb
detail, with a 160(Degree) viewing
angle. Users can change aspect
ratios from standard 4:3 to
widescreen 16:9 format to
accommodate DVD presentations and
widescreen broadcasts. The monitor
is equipped with an advanced scan
converter that can intelligently
reproduce a wide range of digital
video signals (including SDTV, and
HDTV) and UXGA computer signals.
The new unit is merely 3.9" thick!.
The SuperSlim monitor is well suited
for environments with high traffic,
space limitations or aesthetic
considerations since it can be
mounted to the wall or ceiling with
optional flat, tilt or rotating
brackets that allow for easy
conversion between horizontal and
vertical orientations.
Additional product benefits include
a full-function remote, color
temperature/dot phase adjustment to
fine tune the image, and 20 video
memory settings to store data for a
wide range of video sources for
quick recall to speed monitor
set-up.
